A huge thank you to everyone who came out, supported, and volunteered at the Christie Cup!
Events like this simply don’t happen without a brilliant community pulling together. A special shoutout goes to Oli, Colin, Bev, Nick, and Kathryn for doing double duty - creating and running their stalls.
We also owe a massive thank you to Bronwyn, Sarah, Lucy, Jen, Jen, Dan, and Charlotte for manning their stalls all day long and keeping everything running smoothly from start to finish. Also a massive thank you to Karl and Craig for manning their entry gate and collecting tickets.
A big thanks to Stayley for not only playing the game in the true spirit it was meant, but also for allowing us to use their fantastic facilities for what we definitely hope will become an annual event. We also can’t forget Tortuga Stalybridge who kept everyone incredibly well fed very much at the last minute.
While money is still coming in, our initial count shows we are looking at raising in and around the £5,000 mark, which is absolutely incredible.
Every single penny goes directly to support The Christie Charity. Thank you all for making it such a memorable and impactful day!
