This photo is of Ann and husband Frank at her 80th birthday party at which myself and hubby Phil were guests. Those students who knew Ann will remember her at all the shows, displays and all the support she gave when Capriole students were getting ready for their dance exams. We have been friends for almost 30 years and I am so glad I took this photo as it was happier times before her Alzheimer’s in just 4 years took Ann away. Sadly myself and hubby Phil attended Ann’s funeral today which gave a great send off to such a dear friend. R.I.P. Ann ♥️ xx

It was lovely to see Holly Te who called in for a cuppa, mince pie and chat and who is studying ‘Law’ at Durham University. It was a lovely catch up, thank you Holly 💕 and hoping Henry is feeling better soon.
Phoebe did very well in her last Grade 5 Ballet and Modern class before breaking up for Christmas. Well done Phoebe 💕

Imogen McBeath who was accepted at the Northern School of Contemporary Dance in Leeds three years ago has Graduated gaining a ‘First’. Very impressive and hubby Phil and myself and all at Capriole who knew and worked with Imogen wish her all the very best for a long and bright future in whatever direction Imogen now decides to take. Congratulations ❤️ xx

Myself and hubby Phil would like to wish all Capriole dancers past and present a happy Christmas and all the very best for the New Year. It was lovely to see Mum Charlotte and Gill watching Sophie in Grade 2 ballet, also Paula, Minh, Holly (home from Uni) and Harvey who came to watch Phoebe and Henry in Grade 5 ballet before finishing for Christmas. Thank you so much for the presents, they are very much appreciated, take good care and see you in the New Year 💕

Myself and Hubby Phil and Capriole students past and present wish Holly all the very best starting University in Durham. Holly is the last to go from her group of dancers who has been with Capriole for 14 years. Holly has been a pleasure to teach and we wish her well in her new venture ❤️

It was lovely to see Natasha with her babe (Kathleen), Vassia and Mum Helen who came for a visit on Wednesday. We had a great catch up and hubby Phil and me loved every minute of it. Having cuddles with baby was such a treat and I wanted to keep her but somehow I don’t think I would have got away with that idea 🤔 We had biscuits and a cuppa and then sadly they had to leave but we are hoping we can all meet again at Christmas ❤️
