Victory in bid to save Salford golf course Plans had been put forward to turn the course into a housing estate
22/03/2023
Good Morning Everyone,
As you know Save Swinton Park established an asset of community value status on the golf course along with the local councillors. Yesterday Wain Estates appealed against the ACV status and the judge ruled that the status granted was legal and proper and the appeal was dismissed. The Save Swinton Park would like to thank the local councillors, the administration and legal team at the council and the ongoing support from the Mayor and the local MP. 🌳 🌺 ⛳️
If the comments button isn’t working on our previous post, please direct any objections to the cutting down of trees on the golf course to the mayor because the system is down. The mayor's office have sent an email address to register objections, until their IT dept can resolve the problem.
You need to put the application number: 22/80623/TPO.
If it helps, the address they gave is: [email protected]
Thanks
