My first EVER yoga class ✨🥹 YTT isn’t quite over yet, but the exam preparation is well underway. Thank you to @hiit.hub for allowing me to practise in your beautiful space. And thank you to all of my lovely guinea pigs who came along to help me practise 🙏🏻 Another HUGE thank you to the most talented lady ever @sophfilms__ Constantly turning people’s vision into a reality, you are beyond talented 🙌🏻 And a final premature thank you to my amazing Yoga Teachers @om__voyage @ajervisread @sudhir.rishi . I will be forever grateful for every single lesson both on and off the mat 🙏🏻. Life this year has had the highest highs accompanied by the lowest lows (Ronan knows). I’m sure so many of you can relate. We feel things so intensely when we already are within the chaos. If you feel or have felt like this, this one’s for you: The Sun and the Cave Once, there was a vast, dark cave deep within a mountain, hidden from the world. Inside the cave, there was no light, only endless shadows and coldness. One day, the Sun heard about the cave’s plight and decided to visit. When the Sun arrived at the mouth of the cave, it asked, “What is it like in there, in the darkness? Show me your world.” The cave, surprised by the Sun’s warmth, replied, “Come inside and you will see.” But the moment the Sun entered, there was no more darkness. The cave was filled with light, and shadows disappeared. The cave said, “Where has my darkness gone? I wanted to show it to you.” The Sun smiled and replied, “Darkness cannot exist where there is light.” I guess you could say that darkness, fear, and uncertainty rarely remain in the presence of our inner light. So when we meditate, we are like the Sun.
