On Saturday we suffered our first defeat of the season in the Lancashire Amateur Cup, we came up against a very strong Wigan Road FC. A big physical side which we competed with in the most part but the difference was they punished us for a couple of mistakes, made better decisions than we did with the ball and came out deserved 2-0 winners on the day. It’s a result that allows us to pause and reset and we can learn a lot from it, congratulations to Wigan Road FC, all the best in the next round and beyond!

Exciting opportunity for the right team!

We are looking to bring in a senior women’s side for the 2027/2028 season to mirror and compliment our men’s senior section, we are looking to develop our female section at the club to offer a pathway that gives all our girls teams the opportunity to progress from juniors and into youth and senior football.

The right team would become our women’s first team and would play from our first team facilities.

If this is of interest please get in touch, if you know anybody that might be interested in this opportunity please feel free to tag them and or share the same.

Thank you 🔵⚽️

Here with today’s 3rd and final goal, .ingle1 pokes the ball into .cooney07 who plays a great reverse pass into who’s breathing down the keepers neck only for the defender to block into the path of who’s breathing down makes no mistake! 💪🔵⚽️
