It was an all Bees final for the Kelvin Cup this year!!

Our Worker Bees walked away with Gold - after initially losing to our Killer Bees in the round robin! Our Killers bees putting a stellar performance to get Silver.

Tonight we said goodbye to our very own Alice! She joined the club just after Covid and threw herself straight into things by taking on our membership role! She’s greeted many a face that has walked through our doors over the years and she will be very much missed but we wish her all the best in her new home! 💗

Recently we’ve worked with Trafford Youth Engagement Services, delivering dodgeball to young people at Kingdom Life Youth & Community Centre. Nia was thrilled to get their bag of dodgeballs so they can continue to deliver dodgeball to young people, and plans to do the Level 1 training alongside a colleague as part of this project!

It was great to get some of our members and newbies together for a pre-session pizza & catch up as Summer draws to a close and the new season gets underway!

Last weekend we delivered two sessions at Moss Side Millennium Powerhouse for their adult and junior summer clubs. Plenty of kids enjoying dodgeball and finding out about our club ! 🐝

Huge congratulations to our Bees who competed in the Northern European Championships this weekend! An incredible tournament with 3/5 taking home medals!

Meg took home Gold for Women’s with Northern Ireland, Becky took home Silver for Women’s with Scotland and Matt took home Bronze with Republic of Ireland for Men’s.

Our Academy is Back!!

We hope everyone had a nice July break. August is the start of our return to dodgeball and our academy sessions are back too.

Starting this Tuesday 4th August, and every Tuesday between 7-8pm at Moss Side Leisure Centre, our coaches will be ready to show our future bees to dodge duck dip dive and dodge.

We rounded off our last summer foam session on Tuesday with a round robin style tournament! We split into two groups and these were our winners of each!
