We are excited to announce that Frisbee Freezy Junior Indoor Hat Tournament is back for December 2022!
Join us at Hazel Grove Sports Centre in Stockport, Greater Manchester on Saturday 17th December, for an afternoon of fun for youth players of all ability and experience levels!
With a couple of hours of tailored coaching from our experienced team, followed by an awesomely spirited tournament, it’s a great opportunity for youth players new and experienced to meet new friends, develop skills and have fun, all powered by cakes from our ever-popular bake sale!

Pendlay rows are a relatively recent, but welcome, addition to my training rotations.
Resting the weight on the floor (having access to bumper plates at helps!) between reps reduces the time under tension for the lower back vs normal bent over rows and can reduce the risk of straining it. BUT the pull from a dead weight position (particularly when pulling at speed) can present a risk if you struggle to cue stability via the core muscles.
As ever, if in doubt, always get an experienced set of eyes to check your form, and start with lower weights until you are happy with the technique.

A great lift for testing lower body strength, the more central weight distribution of the Trap Bar allows for more activation of the quads than a traditional deadlift.
