Last season the 1st XV went unbeaten and earned promotion to BUCS Northern Tier 1. Now we go again, a division up.

Manchester have contested the Christie Championships against Leeds and Liverpool since 1886. Only Oxford-Cambridge is older.

150 players across three XVs. Whether you’ve played since minis or haven’t picked up a ball in years, there’s a side for you.

Jacob Garrett and Nick Papaspyridis lead the performance squad. Richard Hughes takes the 2nd and 3rd.

Unbeaten. Promoted to BUCS Northern Tier 1. Hardest thing now is doing it twice.

Rugby for Manchester takes our players into local primary schools to teach the game.

Here are the captains for all three of our teams at UMRFC! These are thoroughly deserved positions for the boys, and we can’t wait to see where they take their respective teams in the coming season.

A huge congratulations as well to our own Jacob Garrett, who has made the transition from Club Captain to one of our coaches. We’re delighted to be keeping him as such an influential part of the club, and we’re excited to see the impact he’ll have in his new role.
