I Finally made it out to a BD! It’s been 4 years since we have last been out BD!!! Don’t even ask me if I’ve been paying membership all that time 🙄🙄🙄
We took a trip to Cockshot where I havnt been since taking Will about 8 years ago!! Crazy!
San was very well behaved, I thought it was summer?? Honestly felt like gale force winds in that arena!
Lots of places to improve when I stop playing it safe but we shall find another one to get out to soon!

Yesterday I got to play my favourite game of steal the horse 😊

It has been nearly 2 years!!!! since I have ridden anything other than my 3 since being pregnant and having Jenson.
And it’s hard to admit as a coach that I think I had actually been putting it off as I have felt a bit of a lack in confidence, not so much about getting on but a lack of confidence in my ability since I’ve not done it in a while and I’m still not back to fitness, balance, strength that I had before having him but we are getting there!

But I’m back having lessons on all of the fabulous horses at Ryders Farm 🥰
Stolen horsey was Lucy’s lovely new mare, they are going to have lots of fun together!!

We have had some spaces come available on camp due to a few drop outs.

Somerford Camp 9th -11th July!

Unfortunately we have had 4 riders drop out of camp for various reason so we have these spaces now free!

If you would like to join us at the fabulous Somerford facilities for a great 2 days of training with fab company then please get in touch with us.

We are very flexible so can accommodate any level of rider for these spaced from non jumping - 1m

All food included, 4 sessions of your choice, stabling, 2 bags of shaving and haylage included.
Optional extras available, photographer, human massage, equine massage sessions, etc.

Horses… sometimes I have zero words, the most wonderful levellers and make you find the positives in every situation 🙄

Disappointed as we were really looking forward to running at Catton Park for the first time, she’s felt great and it was good to be getting out after not going to Stafford.
Butttt maybe a blessing in disguises as the ground is still in need of some rain 🌧️
A lovely Sunday vet call out 🙃 hopefully in a few days the swelling will come down and she can have a chilled week.
There isn’t much in the eventing calendar for us until August so will be some dressage and SJ once she is back up and running.
After all the main thing is she is ok and we did what we do best and went out for some lunch instead 🤣
I’ll just say it again. Horses.

On Tuesday we had the amazing opportunity to ride with the amazing Lucinda Green on a clinic at Somerford Park!!
Sansa was pretty perfect even after me saying I was dreading it becuase I thought she would be nappy in a group setting but she was on it!!!
Lots learnt and lots of fun had!

Sad that Stafford won’t be happening for us today.
The ground is hard and she knocked herself a couple of weeks ago forming a bit of a splint and I just don’t want to aggravate it for no reason on the hard ground. we have Catton in a few weeks and hopefully a bit of rain before then. So I decided yesterday that we wouldn’t be going. I then thought I’ll just go and do my dressage as I could really do with a practice on grass.

Anyway the universe had different plans for me and I’m in bed with the worst sickness bug I’ve ever had 🤢 so I wouldn’t have been going anyway!!!

🙄 onto the next event!!!
