Assheton Bowmen

Todays event, organised by Manchester City Council at Boggart Hall Cough was a low key "family fun" day.

We had over 150 people visiting our area and some amazing feedback for the children, carers and the organisers.

It was another roaring success thanks to our volunteers. 🏹

Community outreach events enable us to put Assheton on the local activity map and are an ideal opportunity to increase membership, attract local neighbourhood funding and advertise our activities.

The Event Organiser even gave us a Decathlon Soft Archery set to donate to family visitors of our choice. (Swipe to see the nominated family.)

Even when it's raining, the rainbow over our club today reminds us to keep our eyes on the target. Every arrow brings us one step closer to gold. 🌈🏹🍀🪙🪎

Another successful "We ❤️ Higher Blackley" Community sports day completed.

Assheton Bowmen Novice Portsmouth (2 sessions available)

A relaxed and friendly shoot for Archers with less than TWO YEARS experience.
Experienced Archers can enter but will not be eligible for awards.

Portsmouth Round:

RC/BB/LB: 60 arrows on a single 60cm Portsmouth target face - Indoor

CP: 60 arrows on a 3 spot Portsmouth target face - Indoor

All bowstyles shot in ends of 3 arrows.
