Swinton Judo Club welcomes all people aged 4 and above to come a long and try our sport, no matter what ability. We have three separate classes which are split into age groups. Kinders (aged 4-7) 6:15 - 7:15
Juniors (aged 8-15) 7:15 - 8:15
Seniors (aged 16+) 8:15 - 9:40
All our coaches are DBS checked, hold First Aid Certificates, attend Child Protection & Long Term Development courses and att

We're pleased to announce our very first 10 week Finding Your Feet course, starting next week! Aimed at those 60+, the course teaches non-judo people how to fall safely, avoiding injury in later life.

We've had an incredible January at Swinton Judo Club ! We were honoured by a visit from some of the Paralympic squad, former Olympians, and a meme-famous IJF referee. We also had a senior examiner promotion ,but more important than all of that is the number of new beginners who have come to have a go, and loved judo! Every club needs it's experienced judoka and new starters and we are thrilled to have both! Looking forward to all of our white belts getting their first grade soon!

Today we celebrated our club coach James Doherty being awarded his Senior Examiner qualification, after a lot of effort in training! There are so many people behind the scenes who make judo work, from referees to competition organisers, table officials, senior examiners and more. We're really proud of James for stepping up to become part of the senior examiner team and contributing North West judo
