Do you suffer from migraines?
Everyone’s experience of migraine is different, but there are some things that we can do to help relieve some of the symptoms, and at best even reduce their intensity and frequency.
I have suffered from migraine for 6 years now. Nearly 2 years ago now, my neurologist referred me to a fantastic neuro physiotherapist, who in turn told me I needed to do yoga everyday. I was completely new to yoga, but took her advice and made it a part of my daily routine. I found that one day after my practice I felt a lot better and something clicked.
Yoga = feeling better.
Since then I have just continued to improve, so much so that I trained to be a yoga teacher myself, with the goal of hoping that I could help others to feel better too.
There are scientific studies that have shown the benefits of yoga and mindfulness to migraine sufferers largely due to the relaxation, stress reduction, improved circulation and tension release (particularly around the neck) that yoga provides.
In this 2 ½ hour workshop I will teach you yoga poses, stretches, breathing techniques & relaxation exercises that you can build into your daily routine.
Booking is essential so please contact me at [email protected]
Price - £30
