Tomorrow morning we kick off Boot Camp Life 2022 with my new programm with 14 stations each with 3 exercises running 1 minute each. It matters not your ability as you go at your own pace. I have ensured that Boot Camp Life is a step above any other boot camp in delivering results and programme design. All you have to do get there and we have room!!!

And we play really loud music😎


We are back on Sunday 9th Jan 2022 with completely refreshed website with our programme for all to see.

We have the most versatile Boot Camp set up there is outside including pull up / dip station, sledge hammers, tyres of all sizes, kettlebells, bands, ropes, elastic ropes, TRX, kickshields, tyres with ropes to pull, plyo station .. it goes on and of course music!

Suitable for all abilities, 14 years and above, great plans and discounts for students & block sessions.

It’s a basic principle in fitness that what you do after training and not during solidifies your progress, from nutrition, hydration to sleep.

Focusing on nutrition there are certain foods which not only help with fitness but overall health. One of these is Beetroot which is amazing for overall blood health assisting people with all sorts of ailments.

One of the jobs that blood is vital for is movement of nutritants and oxygen to our muscles and organs. Nitric Oxide is important molecule for blood vessel health. It's a vasodilator, meaning it relaxes the inner muscles of your blood vessels, causing the vessels to widen. In this way, nitric oxide increases blood flow and lowers blood pressure and improving muscles and organ function.

Beetroots are very dense in Nitrates increasing Nitric Oxide in the blood/cells.
As I said the benefits are numerous and quite significant.

You can get organic Beetroot Juice which I use daily (as per photo) and I can tell you it’s a huge part of my fitness nutrition regime and for overall circulatory health.

It also significantly improves performance!! So there you go my top tip for improving for your health naturally!😎

We really pushed hard through this today. Changed the routine and upped the level. Some great results and demonstration of mental grit as well. These guys have been training hard for months, commitment, consistent and passionate about self development, success will alway be achieved. We cater for all level of fitness so it does not matter where you are our session will development you. Post Lockdown Training and Update

As you are all aware we are slowly coming out of lockdown. The dates set are the absolute minimum and like most we will be treading carefully to ensure there is no regression.

With that in mind the proposed timetable of our classes is as follows:

From 29th March 2021 Organised Sports outside can resume again with Covid Safe Measures. This is not subject to gathering limits however we will be training in individual areas as before and household bubbles can mix. This will apply to both Taekwon-Do and Boot Camp.

With this in mind from the 11th April the following classes will be outside (weather permitting)

Sunday 11th April – Boot Camp 9am to 10:30am
Monday 12th April - Taekwon-Do 6:45pm to 7:45pm (Sunset is 8pm)
Wednesday 14th April - Taekwon-Do 6:45pm to 7:45pm (Sunset 8pm)

We may put another class on at the weekend and the times will vary as we go into the summer months with the lighter evenings.

This will remain the case even with the changes on 17th May 2021 where gyms and venues open for classes with Covid restrictions in place. At this time the rule of 6 still will be in place.

I do not expect our senior classes to be operating in Samworth at this time and our Boot Camp will always be outside or online.

The Online Boot camp has grown to be a popular hard-core fitness package and may well run separately in the future.

From the 21st June we may well be able to enjoy normal classes with no restrictions which means pad holding, contact and sparring may well be on the cards again. However, this is a long way down the road so I will update nearer the time.

FightFit will remain online indefinitely, again it has grown into its own brand online and means it is accessible to all rather than a fixed location. We have trained people online in the UK and Spain during the last year.

Two of our instructors are also launching our Taekwon-Do Kids Club fulltime and this will include classes for under 3s pre-school and 3 to 6 year olds, a great legacy for our club with the two instructors starting with us many years ago as young teens themselves!

The lockdowns being as devastating as they have been for business have actually created opportunity and allowed us to adapt and grow in a different way. If we remained stagnant, we would have failed our clients and ourselves. Thanks to this focus we are now an Online and Offline fitness and martial arts platform, and this is how we will be forever more. Our clients enjoy both aspects for varying reasons.

We have not stopped for a heartbeat throughout all the lockdowns and restrictions and this passion for what we do will not stop. No matter the barriers put before us we will always adapt, overcome and continue!

The team did well today👌. A little tweak with the leg drills🔥🔥🔥. Really enjoyed sharing the first of many BJJ/Yoga ground flow drills .. challenging but fun at the same time .. and great for mobility and strength! 🙏

Great work today. Our themes this year includes mobility, facia release and muscular activation preventing inhibited muscle function. Most of us only have 70% muscular activation down to inhibited neural connectivity which affects posture, performance and strength. This is completely reversible with the correct training!


Our awesome sessions start this Sunday 3rd Jan 21 at 9am. We are online however once restrictions abate again we will be at our awesome outdoor space in Mansfield. Our online 90 minute Boot Camp has been very popular as well when we cannot go out and play, you will burn double the calories compared to an average gym session. We also do PAYG with the sessions. As expected Tier 4 has been declared for Nottinghamshire from 31/12/20 and therefore all of our classes including Taekwon-do, FightFit and Boot Camp will be online via Zoom(link details to follow).

We are prepared for this and been doing professional online classes for 10 months so our students/clients will not loose out.

Our timetable will continue from 4/1/21. In addition we have loads of new content for our classes including new approaches to mobility correction improving functional movement and strength.

Due to the inclement weather we completed the Online Boot Camp which is one of the most intense 90 minute classes anywhere on the planet! 10 minute warm up, followed by 22 strength exercises each followed by 30 seconds of full on cardio blast without rest targeting the whole body. We also do mobility / flexibility during and to warm down. The team did an awesome job and are benefiting hugely from the consistency week in week out. Awesome job👏👏👏👏🔥
