Ever wondered about the clock at Ransom Hall? 🕰️
Turns out it has quite a story.

The clock was presented to the hospital by the mine workers’ union on 1 May 1947, around the time Ransom Hall was rebuilt into the building we recognise today.

Before the offices, meetings and day-to-day life we know now, this was part of a hospital site dating all the way back to 1902.

We’re delighted to welcome Teresa Hall MBACP of The Freedom Counselling to Ransom Wood.

Based at Oak House A, Teresa is a BACP registered therapist supporting adults with anxiety, depression, stress, relationship difficulties, childhood trauma and addiction. She brings both professional expertise and personal insight to her work and is passionate about helping people move forward in a healthier, more positive way.

Teresa is usually at Ransom Wood on Thursdays and Fridays — please give her a warm welcome if you see her around!
