I started shooting at the age of 17 mainly Pigeon shooting, then I got into Clay Shooting when l was 20 years old and then l started competing and I Won the Sporting Shoot at the
Amber Valley Shooting Club for the Chairman's Cup at Dethick Derbyshire, and that set me off and l started competing at shooting sporting clay's, l would very often practice on S***t shooting, but it was Sporting for me.

It is with great regret and sadness we have been informed of the passing of Mick Tomlinson after a long illness. Tommo, as he was affectionately known to all his friends, was ‘Mr. S***t’ and during a long shooting career at English and NASSA S***t won many titles.
All our thoughts are with Mick’s Wife, Daughter and family. He was a true gentleman in the S***t world and will be sadly missed by all his friends particularly at Nottingham and District Gun Club.
