💙 A New Look for KC Fitness 💙

After a lot of thought (and more logo ideas than I care to admit! 😅), I'm so excited to finally reveal the brand-new look for KC Fitness!

As KC Fitness has grown, it felt right for the branding to grow too.

The new logo reflects everything KC Fitness stands for:

💪 Strength – represented by the barbell.
❤️ Support & Community – represented by the heart.
🌊 Growth, confidence and fresh beginnings – represented by the ocean-inspired blues.

While the logo may have changed, one thing never will...

My passion for helping people become stronger, healthier and more confident.

Whether your goal is to lose weight, build strength, improve your fitness, or simply feel better in yourself, I'll continue to be here to support you every step of the way.

A huge thank you to everyone who has supported KC Fitness over the years. Your encouragement, trust and belief in me have helped shape the business into what it is today.

Here's to the next chapter... 💙

I'd love to know what you think of the new look! Let me know in the comments. 👇

⭐ WEDNESDAY WORKOUT ⭐

You don’t need to find an hour to exercise—start with just five minutes!

Updated UK physical activity guidance reinforces a really important message: every movement counts, even in small amounts.

Try each exercise for one minute:

▪️ Squats
▪️ High knees or marching on the spot
▪️ Push-ups—against a wall, from your knees or full
▪️ Shoulder press
▪️ Bicep curls

Use dumbbells, resistance bands, filled water bottles or tins of food for the shoulder presses and curls.

That’s one five-minute round! If you feel able, rest briefly and repeat it two or three times for a 10 or 15-minute workout.

These exercises help develop the strength, mobility and fitness needed for everyday life.

Exercise doesn’t have to be long or complicated to be worthwhile. Start with what you can manage today—even if that’s just one round—and gradually build from there.

Small changes, repeated consistently, can make a big difference to your health, strength, mobility, fitness and confidence 💙

If you’re unsure where to begin, I can help you find a realistic starting point that suits your health, ability and lifestyle.

Hip Abductor Machine 🍑

A little reminder on how to use this machine properly because I see this quite a lot 👀😂

Keep your bum ON the seat!
There’s really no need to stand/hover over the seat and pile the weight on.

When you use it properly:

✅ You can control the movement
✅ You're actually working the muscles the machine is designed to target
✅ Less momentum and swinging
✅ Less unnecessary strain

When you stand up and lean forward, you change the position of your hips and the mechanics of the exercise. This changes how the muscles are being loaded and makes it much easier to use your bodyweight and momentum to shift a heavier weight.

Yes, you might be able to move more weight standing up — but that doesn't necessarily mean you're getting better results!

Sit down, control the reps and slow the movement down — especially on the way back in.

Good form over a heavier weight every time 💪

💪
