Over the years, Carl and Ilyas have put an incredible amount of hard work, time, passion and commitment into bringing football legends closer to the fans.

These events have never just been about putting a former player on a stage.

They work tirelessly behind the scenes to try and create something different and special — an experience where supporters can meet their heroes, have photographs, hear their stories, ask them questions, enjoy the banter and actually interact with the players.

They deliberately try to make our evenings personal and accessible. Where many events simply put a barrier between the guest and the audience, we want you to feel part of the night.

Unfortunately, of late, things have become extremely difficult.

Ticket sales and support simply haven’t been where we need them to be, and the reality is that we cannot continue putting these events on if things don’t improve.

💔 So we need to be completely open with everyone…

There is so much that people never see — the months of planning, contacting guests, negotiating dates, arranging venues, designing and promoting the shows, organising memorabilia, food, raffles, photographs and all the little details that hopefully make our evenings memorable.

Carl and Ilyas do it because they genuinely love football and love seeing supporters meeting the people they grew up watching and supporting.

But we simply cannot keep going if the support isn’t there.

So we’re asking for your help. ❤️

Even if you can’t attend, PLEASE LIKE, SHARE AND TAG your friends, family, Liverpool supporters, football fans and anyone you think might enjoy one of these evenings.

Every share matters.

Ray Houghton enjoyed an outstanding career, winning multiple league titles and cup competitions with Liverpool, earning his place as one of the club’s most respected midfielders.

For Irish football fans, he is simply an icon. A man forever etched into football history after scoring two of the Republic of Ireland’s most famous goals – the unforgettable winner against England at Euro ’88, and THAT iconic strike against Italy at the 1994 FIFA World Cup in the USA.

Hear the stories behind those incredible moments, his Liverpool career, life in football, and enjoy an evening packed with laughs, memories, audience Q&A, memorabilia, and much more.
