There are classes to suit all ages including classes for kids age 4+. The Thanet Academy of Master Wolf’s Tae Kwon-Do Academies (MWTA) has been established for almost 30-years and over that time has become synonymous with success. Ted Wolf is a 8th degree Master – the highest-ranking Taekwon-Do instructor in the South-East of England. He has produced over 500 black belts over the years, as well as a multitude of National, International and World Champions – this success is unparalleled by any other club in the country. MWTA clubs span the south-east of Kent and the greater London area, and the quality resonates throughout. The sessions are regularly attended by Master Wolf’s highly talented and qualified coaching staff,which include two current World Champions. Master Wolf's Taekwon-Do Academies are affiliated to the ITF (International Taekwon-Do Federation) & WKU (World Kickboxing Union). Use this website (www.wolftkd.com) to check regularly updated news and events, gallery’s and archives, as well as reading up about the extensive history of the Thanet club since 1976; Master Wolf; and his students. The Thanet Academy’s ‘Wolf Cub’ program has been designed as a preschool to the main club, catering for children from 4-years old. The sessions are modified Taekwon-Do classes. The main focus is to provide a club that is fun, motivating and enhances all areas of the child’s development.

🥉 WORLD CHAMPIONSHIP BRONZE FOR ALBERT SUMMERS! 🥉

What an achievement for Albert Summers at the WAKO Youth World Championships in Jesolo, Italy! 🇮🇹🌍

Representing Kickboxing GB, Albert competed in the Junior Kick Light -57kg category alongside 31 of the best junior fighters from around the world.

At just 16 years old, and after 8 years of training, this was Albert’s first WAKO World Championships — and he certainly made his mark.

🥊 The road to bronze:

🇪🇨 Ecuador — 3–0 win
🇷🇴 Romania — 3–0 win
🇮🇹 Italy — 3–0 win
🇬🇷 Greece — Narrow points loss

Four highly competitive fights against top-level opposition, with Albert getting sharper and more settled as the tournament progressed.

In the semi-final against Greece, Albert was winning at the end of both the first and second rounds, before narrowly losing the decision after three rounds.

That secured BRONZE at the WAKO Youth World Championships! 🥉🌍

What makes us particularly proud is how Albert grew into the tournament. With every fight he looked sharper, more composed and more comfortable, eventually looking completely at home on the mat against some of the best junior fighters in the world.

And well done to all the Kickboxing GB coaches and team who supported Albert throughout the championships. 🇬🇧

🥉 Massive well done to Harry Taylor for shining at the 31st Hungarian Kickboxing World Cup in Budapest! 🇭🇺🌍

🥊 Competing against some of the best fighters from around the world, Harry took on a huge tournament featuring 3,062 entries from 47 countries and came away with a fantastic BRONZE medal in the Continuous Kickboxing & Kick Light -94kg Men’s category.

A brilliant achievement at such a major international event and a great reward for all the hard work, training and dedication Harry has put in. 👏🔥
