The nursery provides a high quality service for young children between 2 years and five years of age. It is open from 8.00am to 4.00pm for 38 weeks of every year. There are two outdoor play areas - a courtyard and a large garden area to provide a range of fun and activities for the children. Children benefit from a ra

nge of activities such as story time, challenge, IT, construction play, creative play, water and sand play, obstacle courses and role play areas. Windmill Community Gardens Project
The Windmill Community Allotment Project (WCAP) is situated just 400m from the main centre, and offers training, work placement opportunities and a wide range of activities for parents and children from the community. With its partners in the NHS, the local council and other children's centres, WCAP works closely with many organisations to support the community and produce environmental products. One of these - 'Millmead Honey' - is the result of a bee-keeping project involving local young people. WCAP works to involve local people more closely with nature and its surroundings, and to enable them to experience the health benefits of working with nature.

This event is being held alongside the Age UK coffee morning. The Thanet Community Safety team have secured a fantastic group of community partners to host stalls and provide advice, including the Kent Police Fraud Team, Nationwide Building Society, Barclays, Trading Standards, KCC Wardens, and the DWP. They are also pleased to have Emma Swietochowski-Hay from the Kent Police Fraud Team joining to give a talk on staying safe from scams.
Please note that parking at the venue is limited, so attendees may need to use nearby residential or on-street parking.

Clubbercise is a fun, easy-to-follow fitness class combining dance, combat and toning to everything from 90s club classics to the latest chart hits. 🌈✨ With glow sticks, disco lights and a darkened room, it feels much more like a night out than a workout!

🙌 Higher and lower intensity options are shown throughout, so the class is suitable whether you're completely new to fitness or already love working out.

👟 Trainers are essential
💧 Bring a water bottle and maybe a sweat towel
⏰ Please arrive at least 10 minutes before the class

🚲🚲Free Big Bike Revival Bike Fix 🚲🚲
The Mechanics from the Bike Shed Margate will be at Millmead Community centre to fix chains, brakes and tires.
There’s no cost to take part – your place is fully funded by Cycling UK as part of The Big Bike Revival programme.
Once registered there will be a free burger or hot dog, for anyone bringing a bike along to be fixed. 🍔🌭 Grill Beasts
