Well done to our U12 team today 🥉👏🏻🥅⚔️🧟‍♂️🧟‍♀️🏆 some great games against top teams in Tier 1 finals .mooseheads 🔝 Despite being short of three team mates on the bench the team managed to battle till last minute and won 3rd place! Massive shout out to Seb for stepping in and doing absolutely fantastic job in the goals at his first inline hockey tournament 💪🏻💚🥅  Well done to Ben for getting MVP 🌟 We are super proud of every single player, amazing results for Newport Knights this season! ⭐️

🚨 SAVE WIGAN ROLLER RINK 🚨

On May 13th 2026, Wigan Roller Rink announced it will permanently close at the end of August.

This isn’t just a skating rink, it’s one of the last real community spaces where children, teenagers, and adults can come together, stay active, learn new skills, and make friends.

For many players, this rink was their introduction to inline hockey. Rinks are already few and far between, and losing this venue would be a massive blow to local sport and the wider community.

Gary and Dawn have done so much for the skating and hockey community, helping make it possible for the Devils to play at Northwest Roller Sports. Their support has helped create friendships, confidence, and memories for so many people.

Now it’s our turn to support them ❤️
