I would like to thank everyone who made this year's Market Drayton 10K a success as feedback we got was the best ever. Over 1900 entries for the 10K, 170 for the Fun Run.
It is the support of the following sponsors that allow us to keep our prices down - Compleat Food group, Müller, Red Lion, Culina Transport and Cool Runnings.
Thanks to all the following, who without their help, this event wouldn't happen – Our 10K team consisting of Leanne Massey, Geoff Chevins, Robert Boffey and Stuart Nagington.

Market Drayton Guides fantastic job giving out the t shirts and race numbers. Market Drayton Running Club for fun run and all other help they gave. Special thanks to all the local residents who came out to support and cheer the runners on and the hose pipes and water on route were greatly appreciated. And all the motorists who respected our marshals for manning the road junctions. And Tim Manton, Market Drayton Mayor, who attended the event all day.
And of course, I’d like to thank the runners who take part in our event.
As a thank you to you all, we are not putting our prices up for the 2027 race. There are no gimmicks, no early bird deadlines, but it’s first come first served, we will sell out, so book early to guarantee your place. Over 80 runners missed out this year as we sold out.

Please note that the Market Drayton 10K race is taking place today, Sunday 10th May. There will be rolling road closures between 10:30am and 12:30pm. These will be kept to a minimum though Newcastle Road, Grove school area, Grove Gardens and Betton Road will be closed for the duration so if you need to travel on these roads please do so before 10:30am.
