Great to see the solicitors and staff from our sponsors at TalbotsLaw who joined us for some social bowling and food and drinks at The Red Lion on Monday evening. Out talent spotters were out and it looks like we may have some new bowlers next season!

Yesterday we held a mixed doubles comp and the opening of our new Away stand, Cliff's Pavilion. It was an honour to have Cliff's wife, Joy not only attend but to officially cut the ribbon and open the new stand. It was a fantastic day, well attended by club members, family and friends. A huge thank you goes out to the working parties and in particular, to Andy Wilson for the planning and building of the pavilion.

Yesterday we held our final club competition of the season, the Handicap singles knockout. After a good turnout and a brief weather scare it was Andy Watkiss who battled through the field beating Martin Moore in the final. In the Consolation cup it was Andy Wilson who beat Ange Watkiss. Congratulations to both winners!
