40 years ago, we were two girls in our 20's with backpacks travelling across South East Asia, ending up in New Zealand 🎒
This week, my friend was back in the UK and we spent 4 days hiking the Peak District with the dog in tow.
Same friendship.
Same spirit.
Different decade.
And honestly?
This is the stuff I bang on about every single week in my membership.
Because hiking 4 days in the Peaks in your 60's isn't a given.
It's built.
→ It's built in the glutes that get you up the climbs
→ The hips that stay stable on uneven ground
→ The back that carries a pack without complaining
→ The ankles that hold steady on the descents
→ The core that quietly does its job all day long.
This is what Pilates gives you. Not a "bikini body." Not party tricks on a reformer.
A body that says YES.
Yes to the friend flying 11,000 miles.
Yes to the long hot days and the big hills.
Yes to carrying your own bag.
Yes to still running, still adventuring, still showing up, decades from now.
If you're a runner over 40 and you want this for yourself, strong, capable, ready for whatever life throws at you then my Pilates for Runners membership was built for exactly this.
