TWO WEEKS TO GO!

🏇 RACING GOES AHEAD AT MARKET RASEN!

We are pleased to confirm that this morning’s precautionary inspection has been passed, and racing goes ahead as planned!

Average wind speeds so far today have been 14mph, with gusts reaching 37mph. We will continue to closely monitor conditions throughout the day.

Even better, we now have FOUR races live on ITV, with races 2, 3, 4 and 5 all being televised!

IMPORTANT RACEDAY INFORMATION

Due to today’s weather conditions, there are a few things to be aware of ahead of your visit:

• Big Screen: Our big screen may not be raised to its full height due to the wind.

• Seating: Outdoor furniture has not been laid out as a precaution, but guests are welcome to help themselves to available furniture.

• Shetland Pony Racing: Unfortunately, following discussions with the organisers, today’s Shetland Pony Racing has been cancelled.

• Bars: Francky’s, Tiger Roll (County Enclosure only) and Victor Lucas will be open, offering areas away from the wind.

• Tote Exacta: This facility will remain closed as it is currently being used as our temporary weighing room.

Thank you for your understanding as we take precautions to ensure a safe and enjoyable raceday for everyone.

Precautionary Inspection – 8am on Sunday 25thOctober

A precautionary inspection will be held at 8am on Sunday 25th October. Forecasts currently suggest strong winds from Saturday afternoon and throughout Sunday, with gusts potentially reaching 53mph.

At present, the track is raceable and site safe for all attendees. We will continue to monitor the forecast closely.
