The course was established in 1892 and is set in tranquil
Cheshire countryside, it is 5373 yards (Par 68) long with tree lined fairways and top quality greens that give an interesting challenge to
golfers of all abilities. It is set in mature, tree-lined park land with several ponds and other interesting water hazards which has gentle slopes overlooking the
Cheshire Plain and runs between the Macclesfield Canal and Middlewood Way. It is well known for being a very friendly and sociable
golf club, steeped in history and tradition, established in 1892. The clubhouse provides excellent facilities for entertaining, dining and for relaxing after the pleasure of a memorable round of golf. A warm welcome awaits our visitors and we are confident that you will get pleasure from playing on one of the most attractive golf courses
in Cheshire. Our aim is to offer the best possible facilities, to member and visitors alike, whether on the course, in the clubhouse, function room or in the professional shop.

Last week there was a hole in one on the 2nd hole which is where our permanent hole in one competition is located.
Unfortunately…… he hadn’t entered the competition so missed out on winning a minimum of £5000😭

After months of planning, building and plenty of hard work behind the scenes, I'm delighted to say that the new Performance Studio has officially been used for the very first time.

What better way to open it than by hosting our first Callaway Custom Fitting Day, followed closely by the very first coaching lesson in the new space. It was fantastic to finally see the studio being used for exactly what it was designed for.

While we're incredibly pleased with the progress, we're not quite at the finish line yet. There are still a few finishing touches to complete and, as with any new project, a couple of teething problems to iron out. Because of this, the studio will currently be available for lessons, custom fittings and studio hire only when work isn't taking place.

The aim has always been to create one of the best indoor golf facilities in the area, providing members and visitors with a premium environment for coaching, custom fitting and practice all year round. We're getting closer every week, and I can't wait to reveal the finished product.
