Ac Captain Betty was proud of the team for winning against Chester on sloping lawns and tough conditions. Philip and Catherine Bass Lee Hartley and Betty won 4-3. The highest scoring game was 17 which highlighted how difficult conditions were.

Thank you to the Fylde team, (LIz, Peter, Betty and Barry ) who battled tough conditions in the Secretary Shield at Ashby today in a searing 28 + degrees with little shade. Ashby beat Fylde 4 -3, We wish Ashby all the best in the final.

Captain Betty would like to thank the Ac team (Peter,Liz and Nathan) who won today beating Pendle 6-1. Extra special thanks to Liz who filled in at the last minute due to Lee being ill. The whole team played remarkably, not one bisque between the lot of us!

Busy few days for Fylde members at the moment. Short Team played Westmorland on Thursday, Golf Team played Westmorland yesterday, Team at home today playing H/C A/C. Three members at Bury playing in a Short Competition, One member in the Regional Final of the All England GC at Ashby and a B Level Team out tomorrow at Bury!
