Yesterday our u16 girls travelled to Workington town lions to play in the 1st round of the county cup.

Plenty of good positive football from both teams, which end with our girls progressing into the next round.. well done girls, brilliant team performance 👌👍

We wish workington town lions all the best in their upcoming fixtures.

‼️A reminder to all clubs, coaches and team officials regarding U11s and below.

The rules around results and the publication of scores for these age groups fall under The FA Standard Code of Rules for Youth Football.

Therefore, scores for U11s and below are hidden and must not be publicly shared, including on club or team social media.

This also includes individual player scoring information. The number of goals scored by an individual player must not be publicly listed or shared.

‼️Please also note that when entering results on Full-Time for U12s and above, the highest score should be recorded as 9, regardless of the actual scoreline. This is then the score that can be publicly displayed through Full-Time and shared via social media.

Please ensure everyone involved with your Club is aware of and follows this requirement.

Failure to comply may result in fines being issued by the League.

A rocky start to the season results wise only picking up three points but the performances are growing week in week out! As this is our development team, results aren’t important, learning skills, improving fitness and creating a fantastic team spirit are our goals!

This weekend our first Man of The Match went to Bobby. Wearing his shirt with his name on must have inspired him as Coach Paul said it’s the best he has ever seen him play. Using his skills in centre mid to bring the ball down under control, get his head up and looking for a pass.
Secondly Stan, who was on the end of Bobbys good work and as striker slotted away two nice goals.

Well played to our Decking Design sponsored Maryport U12s today with a really close game against Moor Row.
Some great goals from Daisy scoring 2 and Isabella scoring 1 and a well deserved player of the match went to Elsie for brilliant defending.
A great team effort from all the girls and their continued hard work is really starting to show and have really settled in well with each other now.
Up the Port!!!

3 games from 3...what more can we possibly ask for from our Decking Design sponsored under 14 girls team! The girls were challenged today in the sense of having no subs available and all of them playing a full game but it worked out in the end with us winning 8-0 against Abbeytown. Every single one of the girls played a stormer and put their heart and soul into it and the results speak for themselves. Brilliant work from our back 3 yet again. Keighana was awarded the Player of the Match for her work on the wing and for the corner kicks she kept putting in, absolutely well deserved.

Another tough task for our Decking Design sponsored under 14 girls this afternoon against a very strong U14 Mirehouse side. Our girls never stopped battling and managed a consolation goal through the ever threatening Ciara after a great ball through by Ella. On another day, we could have scored more but Mirehouse deserved the win.
Girls of the game go to Scarlett for a brilliant display in defence and Summer for great passing and a great spell dropping into centre midfield.

Please can we ask that no dogs are brought into the Netherhall School premises including the playing fields. We have worked with Netherhall School over the last few years creating a great safe space, for our kids to play football. Please don’t bring dogs to matches or training, even well behaved dogs are not allowed.
