Perfect for anyone wanting to spend the day outdoors, including uniform group leaders, teachers, outdoor enthusiasts, or anyone who simply enjoys being outside. No previous bushcraft experience is needed, just a willingness to get stuck in!

What is forest bathing?
No, it’s not about getting into your swimming cossie in the woods! Forest bathing is a simple mindfulness practice that invites you to slow down and connect with nature through your senses. It’s not about exercise or covering distance, it’s about taking time to notice, observe, and enjoy the natural environment around you. We will provide mats for you to sit or lie down on to relax.

Some of our instructors have recently returned from a 3 day training trip to Wales, as they continue their preparation for the Local Cave & Mine Leader Assessment.⛰️

We’re extremely proud of their continued commitment to professional development and the dedication they are showing as they work towards their assessments.

A special thank you goes to our instructor Gary, who shared his knowledge, expertise and experience throughout the training trip.

The team spent more than 12 hours underground, visiting:

📍 Cwmorthin Floor 4 Mine
📍 Cwmorthin Mine
📍 Bwlch Y Plwm Mine

During the trip, they reached a maximum depth of approximately 1,300ft underground, completed numerous abseils, including a 101ft descent and had lots of a laughs along the way!

👥 Siblings:
Our SEN soft play sessions are designed to provide a safe, welcoming and judgement free space where individuals can play at their own pace and feel comfortable in their surroundings.

Siblings are welcome to attend these sessions where them doing so will enhance the experience for their sibling(s) with SEND. However, these sessions are primarily for the benefit of children with additional needs, so we kindly ask that all children attending respect the calmer nature of these sessions and allow everyone the space and time they need to enjoy the sessions comfortably.

🍎 Food & Drink:
Hot drinks and squash are available in our kitchen, or you are more than welcome to bring your own food and drinks. However, for everyone’s safety, food and drink must not be consumed on the soft play equipment.
