It’s always a special day in the club calendar, and we hope everyone enjoys their golf, plays well and, most importantly, has a fantastic day out on the course.

🧘‍♀️ PILATES IS COMING TO MELLOR! ✨

We’re delighted to welcome Cilla Fitness to Mellor Golf Club for a new regular Thursday morning Pilates class.

📍 Mellor Golf Club – Townscliffe Room

The class is open to everyone, all ages and abilities — whether you’re completely new to Pilates or already enjoy it, you’ll be very welcome!

Pilates is a great way to work on strength, flexibility, mobility and balance, all in a friendly and welcoming environment.

🏆 GREATER MANCHESTER BUSINESS GOLF CUP 2026

What a day at Mellor Golf Club.

Yesterday we welcomed 18 teams and 72 players for the 2nd Greater Manchester Business Golf Cup — a brilliant day of golf, networking and showcasing some fantastic Greater Manchester businesses.

Congratulations to our 2026 winners:

🥇 CraftMill – 91 points
🥈 JMW – 89 points
🥉 DCD Plastering – 88 points

CraftMill’s winning team featured Dave Barron, Phil Welsh, Felix Kemp and Graham Davenport, all Mellor members, making the result even more special for the club.

The team received £800 in Mellor Golf Club Pro Shop vouchers, while Phil and Felix, as the highest scorers within the winning team, also received two Business Class flights to Istanbul, very generously donated by Turkish Airlines.

A huge thank you to Turkish Airlines for supporting the event with such a fantastic prize.

We were also delighted to welcome Nuebria, Lotus Cars, with two stunning cars on display, and Stockport Gin, whose pop-up proved extremely popular throughout the day.

A special thank you to Dan Clarke for organising the event and bringing everything together, to Jamie and the greens team for presenting the course so well in challenging conditions, to George and the bar and catering team for looking after everyone throughout the day, and to Joe, our PGA Professional, who ran Beat the Pro all day.

Tomorrow we’re delighted to host the 2nd Greater Manchester Business Golf Cup here at Mellor Golf Club. ⛳️

We’re looking forward to welcoming 18 teams and 72 players for what promises to be a fantastic day of golf, networking and good company.
