What a night we had at our presentation evening last night!
From well-deserved awards and quiz forfeits involving BuzzBalls, to games of killer darts and pool, plus plenty of food and drinks, everyone had an amazing time signing off the season in style! (even if we do still have one last game to play next week…)

3 goals, 3 points! Happy days! Yesterday afternoon we welcomed Marlborough Rovers to Holwell in our final home game of the season.
We switched formation going into this game and it paid off, giving us a real attacking edge from the start. We created plenty of chances in the first half but couldn’t quite find the breakthrough, going into the break at 0-0.
We came out strong again in the second half, determined to find the opener. It finally came through Milner, who hit an absolute worldie from the edge of the box. Marlborough responded straight from the restart to level things up, but we kept pushing and didn’t let our heads drop. Shortly after, Amy was rewarded for her hard work, intercepting a goal kick and calmly slotting home to put us back in front. Moments later, a Milner corner found Caitlin, who powered in a header to seal a well-deserved win💪
Credit to Marlborough who battled hard throughout the game despite competing with low numbers, thank you for an enjoyable game!
🌟POTM: Nicola🌟 Nic put in a star performance yesterday! She had to adapt to the wingback position which she is unfamiliar with, but you wouldn’t have known! Getting stuck in, throwing herself into challenges, creating attacking runs to help the forwards, as well as doing her defensive duties exceptionally! Amazing work rate Nic, fully deserved.

A great battle yesterday in the sunshine that ended in an unfortunate loss!
The ladies put in a great shift yesterday against a strong Coalville side, playing some good football with a smile on their faces! Coalville had some good chances early on in the game but Ruby pulled off some fantastic saves to keep them out for the meanwhile. We continued to push creating some chances of our own, but it was Coalville that went into half time 2-0 up.
30 seconds after the restart, the ball fell to Tamsin who hit an absolute rocket that flew over the Coalville keeper to bring us back into the game. Both teams started to tire midway through the second half and things went a bit flat, but Coalville managed to find a third with a well taken finish with a touch of fortune from a bobble off the ground.
Overall, we are pleased with our performance, attitude and resilience against a strong side who are set to win the league this season and we wish Coalville the best for the rest of the season.
🌟POTM: Ruby🌟 Ruby delivered an excellent inbetween the sticks. She made a handful of outstanding saves that kept us in the game, particularly in the first half. Well deserved Ruby!
Our next fixture is this coming Sunday against Marlborough Rovers in which will be our last home game of the season🩵
