Pastels and Prosecco..
What a great evening! 🎨🥂🐮

48 budding artists, 48 Highland cows and a little Prosecco along the way! Our Pastels & Prosecco evening was a great success and it was lovely to see so many people joining us for a creative night.

Local artist Vic Bearcroft guided us through the techniques of working with pastels. Whether complete beginners or a little more experienced, everyone got stuck in and, by the end of the evening, we had 48 fabulous Highland cows looking back at us!

It was lovely to see everyone’s pictures develop throughout the evening, and amazing how different each Highland cow looked despite us all working from the same subject.

A huge thank you to Vic and Liz for such an enjoyable and inspiring introduction to pastels, and to everyone who came along and made the evening such a success.

We all had a super time and went home with our very own Highland cow masterpiece! 🎨

Belvoir Vale Ladies 1 Are Going Up! 🎾🏆

The ladies First Team won their division in the Leicestershire County Summer Doubles League, earning promotion to Division 1 next season!

It’s been a brilliant summer for the team, who finished the season an impressive eight points ahead of their closest rivals, Market Harborough.

Captained by Julia Young, the squad included Reinette Boucher, Carolyn Park, Jo Goodberry, Liza Wass, Liz Stokes, Dru Redman, Emma Atkins, Anna Reece, Fran Hansford, Sara Skelton and Clare Murden.

Different combinations have taken to the courts throughout the summer, with everyone playing their part in getting those all-important points on the board. There have been some great matches and a fantastic team spirit all the way through the season.

Join us for a relaxed and creative evening with local wildlife artist Vic Bearcroft, at Hose Village Hall who will guide you step-by-step as you create your own pastel Highland cow artwork.

The Mixed 2nd Team have had a busy summer, travelling across Leicestershire for their matches and welcoming new members Wilf and Freddie to the team. 🎾

They’ve also faced some very youthful opposition! Their recent match against David Lloyd Leicester saw them take on a team made up entirely of players under 16, narrowly losing 5–4.

A great effort from the team and plenty of competitive tennis along the way!

What a lovely morning at the club! 🎾☀️
We had a fantastic Family Fun Morning with the Rosie May Foundation with plenty of games and tennis along the way.
A huge thank you to everyone who came along and helped make it such an enjoyable morning. 💕 It was wonderful to see so many families enjoying themselves at the club while supporting such a brilliant cause.

What a brilliant Ladies’ Mix & Match Night! 🎾☀️
We couldn’t have asked for better weather, no wind, a gorgeous sunset and, most importantly, great company.
