“Primrose Everdeen.”

The moment everything changed. 🌿🏹

This week our Intermediates started working on their brand new piece inspired by The Hunger Games, and what a powerful start it was.

Fear, bravery, sacrifice, and the bond between sisters. This dance tells the story of the moment Primrose’s name is called at the reaping and the events that follow.

We can’t wait to bring this story to life on stage at Encore 2026. ❤️

Why should my toddler dance? 🤍

People often ask why toddlers should start dance so young.

The truth is, it isn’t really about creating the next professional dancer.

It’s about giving them a place where they can grow.

Dance teaches children to walk into a room without mum or dad and feel confident. It teaches them to listen, take turns, make friends, and be part of something bigger than themselves.

They learn how to follow instructions, how to keep trying when something feels tricky, and how proud they can feel when they finally get it right.

For some children, dance is the first activity where they truly find their voice. For others, it’s where they burn off endless energy, develop coordination, and discover a love for movement.

Week after week, we watch shy children become confident, quiet children make friends, and nervous children walk through the studio doors with a huge smile on their face.

The dancing itself is only part of it.

What they really gain is confidence, resilience, independence, friendships, discipline, creativity, and memories they’ll carry with them long after they’ve forgotten the routine.

And if they happen to learn a few great dance moves along the way, that’s just a bonus. 💙
