It was so nice to see the new belts on those that graded at the weekend, and with everyone learning their new moves it was a very rewarding evening.
We saw a few new faces as well, and the Tiger Cubs had a very noisy game of dodgeball.

It's the seniors grading this weekend, so we'll be seeing the big moves from these 👊. 11am start for those that didn't know already, and don't forget your budo pass.

We're really lucky to have so many hard working and focused students, it makes our job of teaching so much easier.

Todays Tiger Cubs and Junior gradings went really well and they can all be proud of their achievements. We sometimes forget how young they are as they can surprise us with their retention and performances.

It's been a very special day, made more so by the grading of five Juniors taking their Black Belt.
They were all fantastic and dug deep through an hour and half of technique and knowledge, and all of the Grading Officers commented how well they did.

A great night of final tweaking and guidance for the Tiger Cubs and Juniors, so we're all set for this weeks big event. We have the final names for those ready and are excited already.
We've got new White Belts taking their first ever grade and 5 Juniors taking their Black Belt, with lots in-between, it's going to be a special weekend for some.

The paperwork is all done, certificates are prepared and the Grading Officers have ironed their uniform 🤪.

Just a reminder that we need your budo pass to update the records, so if you've not already, please bring it down on the day.

Final session today before grading on Saturday for Tiger Cubs and Juniors

It’s going to be another hot one later, so please come in t-shirt or polo with your gi trousers.

You may also have seen that we have a resting bee swam on the pedestrian entrance. They should disperse today, but please use the main car entrance if on foot and stay away from the wall

We've just printed out the slips to give out this week, which will confirm if you're grading on the 6th June.
We've also got the start times adjusted now we know what numbers to expect.

As we get closer to the grading dates we see two things; more regular attendance and some fantastic techniques.

Last night was nice and busy and those moves are looking good, with most students up to the standard now and really going to be ready for the big day.

With three more Thursdays to go for the young classes, there are some students with a question mark next to their name so we've still got work to do.

Not only that, but we've seen a few new faces as well having a great time with us learning our style of self defence 😍

Well the summer is almost here and the warm weather is very welcome.

Nice to see everyone getting on with their training and working well together. Not much to report, but keep your eye on those days as grading season will here in June.
