Upper Broughton Youth & Social Club

What an afternoon!! Amazing to see our club buzzing with people of all ages: from 2 year olds trying out High-five volleys for the first time, to our regular juniors helping to run games for the under 9s, to the adults refreshing their skills or learning some new ones.

Today was a success - Thank you to everyone involved in organising the event and for the community for supporting it.

Another first... This time for our 8&U Mini Red players!

8 of our youngsters arrived at Loughborough University full of excitement. They played singles tie-breaks against juniors from other Leicestershire clubs.

Parents, coach and the children taking part can all be proud of how they played and conducted themselves on court. Some fabulous tennis, super sportsmanship and smiles all round!

2022 is the first year in the clubs history, that we have entered Junior teams into the local Leicestershire tennis leagues.

Our 9&U and 10&U teams loved the opportunity to compete against other clubs. In a few weeks time, the 8&U team will get their chance to do battle over at Loughborough University.
