🍂🌳 As we head into autumn, we will shortly be making some changes to our opening hours.

Details of our new opening times across the business, which will be effective as of next Monday, 7th September 2026, can be found on our website ⬇️⬇️

With the August bank holiday weekend upon us, our opening hours will remain as normal with the exception that we are opening earlier in the Spike Bar on Bank Holiday Monday.

We will be open with food service available from the slightly earlier time of 8:00 am and serving right through until 6:00 pm; the Bar closing at 10:00 pm – last orders 9:30 pm.

We look forward to seeing you over the next few days.

🚨🍂⛳ Autumn course maintenance

Advance notice to make everyone aware that in preparation for the winter ahead we will begin our autumn greens maintenance work next week.

This will start next Tuesday, 1st September, and will mean that one of our 9-hole courses will be closed each day over a three-day period to ensure the greens team can complete the work efficiently.

📅 The schedule of course closures for next week are as follows:-

⛳ Tuesday 1st September – Hampton course
⛳ Wednesday 2nd September – Somers course
⛳ Thursday 3rd September – Blythe course

😀 As a result of this work and the course closures, we will reducing our green fees from Wednesday 2nd to Sunday 6th September.

A reminder that although temperatures are cooler to those we have had of late and we have received a small amount of rain overnight, the previous advice of the ban on smoking on the golf course is still in place.

We thank you for your continued cooperation and understanding.

Smoking Ban on the Golf Course

Due to the high temperatures and lack of any rain of late you will be aware that the grasses have become extremely dry, particularly the longer ones in the rough.

With this and also a fire at another local golf club in the region in mind, we are enforcing a ban on smoking on the golf course.

It would only take a small spark/flame to set a fire off in the grasses so please refrain from smoking on the course.

Smoking outside the clubhouse and on patio will continue to be permitted but please dispose of the cigarette responsibly.
