After the poor weather last weekend resulting in our game against Whitchurch being postponed, we welcome them to the Green this evening in an important fixture, where Troedyrhiw need all points to help in this relegation battle. Game starting at the earlier time of 5:30 due to the game being 21 ends and the nights getting darker.

In a past life Steve Flynn was a legendary centre for Pontypridd RFC, he may have swapped the grass of the House of Pain to Troedyrhiw Bowls Green, but he's a phenomenal sportsman and totally deserves being inducted to the Ponty Hall of Fame. If he keeps up his performances for the rest of the season he may even make the Troedyrhiw Bowls Hall of Fame.

Steve became a stalwart member of our midfield in the late 70s/early 80s, notching up 66 tries in just over 200 appearances for the club ✊

Outstanding result last night for the boys where they won on 3 rinks drew on 1 rink with the overall Score 83-48 and Troedyrhiw picking up 13 league points. Well done!

More important than the result though, we'd like to thank our hosts at Trelewis & Treharris Bowling Club for their hospitality and supplying free bottled water throughout the duration of the game!
