End of my fat loss phase 💪
At the end of June, I was 89kg today I’m sitting at 74kg.
Fat loss doesn’t happen where you want it to you can’t spot reduce (unfortunately) but that’s all part of the process. I might not look exactly how I imagined, but I’m fitter, stronger, and more confident than ever.
I began light training and gradually built up intensity. My focus:
⚖️ Calories around 1800–1900/day
🚶♀️ 7k+ steps a day
🔥 HIIT cardio at the end of sessions
🥋 Weekly karate lessons
Sometimes I didn’t meet this goals but I tried. Life happens.
Now, I’m moving into a muscle-building phase aiming to compete in a strongwoman competition in July (with a small cut before the event).
🧠 What I learned during fat loss:
✅ Actually weigh your food. Guessing leads to underestimating.
✅ Don’t rely on your watch for calorie burn. Track your intake, not your output.
✅ Progress isn’t just the scale. I went by how my clothes fit and energy levels felt.
✅ Enjoy life. I didn’t miss family meals, enjoyed takeaways occasionally, and still stayed consistent.
✅ Protein and balance are key.
When I do it again, I would definitely take body measurements and record my progress along the way. The scale doesn’t tell the whole story those small changes really add up!
Most importantly, I enjoyed the process. 💪
