🟡⚫ FULL TIME | Methilhill Strollers 1-1 Eastvale AFC ⚫🟡

The lads started off slowly and found themselves 1-0 down going into half time.

The second half saw the Strollers improve and eventually get themselves back into the game, with Cole Koczubik calmly converting from the penalty spot to level the game at 1-1. ⚽👏

Tomorrow, we’re back at Herd Park as we welcome Eastvale AFC to Methilhill for another important league fixture.

The Strollers will be looking to put in another big performance in a local derby and continue our good start to the league campaign.

🟡⚫ HOOT HOOT RACE NIGHT 🖤💛

Methilhill Strollers are delighted to be teaming up with Methilhill Bowling Club for a fantastic night of racing, fundraising and fun! 🏇

📅 Friday 16th October
📍 Methilhill Bowling Club
⏰ 6:30pm for a 7:00pm start

We’ll have 8 races throughout the night, with the first 7 races open for general betting. Cash is required for betting, so make sure you come prepared! 💷

The 8th and final race will be our Auction Race, with cash also required for anyone looking to get involved and bid for a horse. 🏇💰

Alongside the racing, we’ll also have Irish Bingo with plenty of fun to be had and a raffle with some great prizes up for grabs! 🍀🎟️

We’ll also be running our Closest to the Bottle game, so make sure you bring along plenty of £1 coins if you want to have a go! 🍾🪙

To top it all off, we’ll have an acoustic set from The Castros midway through the evening! 🎶

It’s set to be a brilliant night of racing, music, games and fundraising, all in support of Methilhill Strollers and Methilhill Bowling Club.

🟡⚫ FULL TIME | Methilhill Strollers 5-0 Stenhousemuir FC Under 19s ⚫🟡

A fantastic performance from the Strollers as we progressed to the next round of the Scottish Cup with a convincing 5-0 victory over Stenhousemuir FC Under 19s at Herd Park! 👏

The lads started the game brilliantly, taking a quick 3-0 lead and dominating the whole of the first half. We moved the ball well, created plenty of chances and looked in control from the first whistle.

The second half started a little slower, but eventually the lads kicked on, started playing some really good football and grabbed another two goals to finish the game 5-0. 💪

Mention to Brodie Ireland who kept the first clean sheet of the season.👏

The result sees the Strollers into the hat for the next round of the Scottish Cup! 🏆🟡⚫
