Parkinson's Table Tennis At Ormesby

𝐓𝐚𝐛𝐥𝐞 𝐓𝐞𝐧𝐧𝐢𝐬 - 𝐒𝐮𝐧𝐝𝐞𝐫𝐥𝐚𝐧𝐝
Neil Wilkinson, a Level 2 table tennis coach, retired Physiotherapist has offered to coach those with Parkinson’s, their family and carers. This is an exercise which has had considerable success on helping PWP’s to improve their wellbeing and maintain mobility, balance and coordination. In the north east there are several successful table tennis groups including some players who compete internationally.

Weekly on a Thursday 12 - 1.30pm.

The Branch will fund the first 3 months, so why not try this new activity for Free.

Please wear comfortable clothing and suitable footwear. We recommend bringing a bottle of water.

All abilities welcome!

We are thrilled to celebrate our wonderful volunteer, Keith Wilson from our Darlington Branch, who is launching his new book, 9 Lives Lucky! 🎉

Keith, a Parkinson’s UK storyteller, shares his incredible life adventures, including his miraculous survival after a 60-meter fall while climbing in the Lake District. 🗻

Join Keith for the official book signing and launch event:
When: Sunday, May 31st
Where: Roseberry Topping (TS9 6QS)
Time: Sales at the car park from 11:00 am, followed by a signing on the summit at 12:00 noon (weather permitting!) ⛅️

Money raised will be shared equally between Parkinson's UK Keswick Mountain Rescue Team and Penrith Mountain Rescue Team .
