-The path to success-

In this clip I fail at a sumo deadlift for 170kg

Today I did a conventional deadlift for 200kg

I still have time to perfect my form and I’ll always ask for feedback because more knowledge is best for me however I’m happy with the outcome so far!

That path to your end goals isn’t always sunshine and rainbows there is bumps, diversions, hurdles and everything else along your way… it’s how you react to them that counts… are you going to sit there and bask on your failures or work on improving yourself in order to adapt and succeed later on down the line.

You’re stronger then you think!

And with each failure along your way it’s that one stepping stone closer to success, KEEP GOING!

-Mental health week-

This is not a national holiday so you might not see it around social media much but needs to be talked about a lot more.

Today is about anxiety… I see this in the gym constantly from different people and backgrounds.

Im hoping a little bit of information from my point of view and perspective can be the start of that on switch in people’s minds to help themselves become a better version of themselves.

We need to speak more about this.

-How little moments in your life make massive impacts-

You might look at this and think well that’s just a door with scribbles on it, and technically you’d be correct but there’s more to it! Let me explain…

This was a family tradition at my dads house every time we’d go round when we were kids we’d get measured and see if we had grown 🤣 when you’re young you want to be old and grown up so bad but when you’re old you wish you were young again!

I grew up with this tradition and my niece’s and nephews also had grown up with it as well, the moral of this story is this: We do and capture moments like this daily with our family, friends, etc and because it’s common practice we subconsciously get used to it and the specialness and meaning of it goes away sometimes.

I’m just glad I took a picture the last time I entered my dads house after his passing so I can share these memorable moments; moreover, telling everyone reading this that doesn’t matter how big Or small your moment is, if it means something to you be proud, cherish it, sit back - laugh, cry… however that moment made you feel embrace it!

It’s ok 😊

- Life is too short to be so harsh on yourself 24/7. If you’re constantly criticising yourself daily that will impact you much more in the future, sometimes you have to look back on how far you’ve come and take pride in your achievements and accomplishments 🙌🏻
