The work on the green continued last week, verticut and cut on Tuesday, then cut again on Friday at 6mm. This means it is playing faster and we even had woods in the ditch!

Good support in our opening week after the disappointment of the rain on our opening day. The green was a bit heavy, but cutting at 6mm on Tuesday should improve that although the grass isn’t growing much - just two boxes off last Friday!
28 and 22 on the green at the two Afternooners sessions (Tuesday & Friday) nine at the Thursday Club Night, will be a better turn out this Thursday for the Fish & Chip night.
Afternooners on Tuesday and Friday this week sign in at 13:15 for a 13:30 start, £1 cover charge.
