The first half of the year was productive in line with our agenda of promoting table tennis in our locality.

The 2021 World Table Tennis Day (themed FEMpowerment) was celebrated at 5 locations in Lagos state along side ,
The first and largest number of WTTD event in the history of the state.

The results were impressive with massive turnout and increase in number of participants cutting across all gender and age group including people with disabilities.

This as shown once again that table tennis if harnessed along strategic goals and outlines can be used as a tool to accomplish so much.

I am elated to share the certificate of participation from the International Olympic Committee – IOC six-weeks learning sprint young leaders program. I learnt a lot about the Olympic dream, its values, how to use sport to achieve sustainable developments goals, using sport as a social business curtsey yunus sports hub and most importantly using sport to solve societal ills. Thank you IOC, panasonic, yunus sport hub and all hosts for taking us through this wonderful program. I will be sure to put what I have learnt to practice. I wish the 25 successful young leaders success in their projects.
