⚽ Redcar & Cleveland District U11s 6–2 Middlesbrough District U11s ⚽

The Redcar & Cleveland District U11s got their season off to a fantastic start with an impressive 6–2 victory over Middlesbrough District U11s.
From the very first whistle, the boys showed great energy and determination. They settled into the game quickly and created some excellent opportunities, putting Middlesbrough under pressure.
Their hard work was rewarded with two well-taken goals, and the boys went into half-time with a deserved 2–0 lead.

The second half saw the team step up another gear. The boys played some fabulous football, showing great passing, movement and teamwork. They came flying out after the break and extended their lead to 5–0, putting themselves firmly in control of the game.
Middlesbrough managed to pull one back to make it 5–1, but Redcar & Cleveland responded brilliantly, adding another goal to make it 6–1. Middlesbrough scored again to make it 6–2, but the boys remained composed and saw the game through to a fantastic victory.

A brilliant performance from the whole squad and a fantastic way to start the season. The boys should be extremely proud of the football they played today.

A big thank you to our home kit sponsors, Momentum Financial Solutions Ltd for their fantastic support. 🙌

🟡 U13's 2026/27 Squad 🔵

Please see below the 16 player squad selected to represent the U13's for the upcoming season. It has been an extremely difficult decision between the coaches with different versions of squads, was brilliant that all players registered for the final trial attended, and we hope this continues the season after also.

U13's Team ⬇️
William Hobday
Freddie Snaith
Luke Baker
Fin Dundon
Charlie Splaine
Eisa Blan
Jaxon Cook
Jacob Blyth
Isla Close
Oscar Komkowski
Joey Gaffney
Leighton Dean
Elijah Spargo
Caden Taylor
Thomas Whitehead
Jenson Raine

We would like to offer the opportunity for the following players to be involved in any pre-season friendlies, training sessions or involvement in match day squads if those 16 players selected become unavailable to represent ⬇️

Harry Gill
Harry Currie

We understand that players & parents will be disappointed if you haven’t been selected. The district has evolved each season giving new players opportunities to impress, but also welcoming those to trial in the future who have either not been selected to continue from previous seasons squads or have not made it through the trial process.
As coaches we will always keep upto date with how players are performing for school/clubs throughout the 26/27 season 👍🏻

Many Thanks
