A reminder that the R&C 2026/27 trials for U11 - U15 Boys will start next week (tomorrow). Please can all attending arrive in good time Redcar College with the correct footwear for the 3G Pitch, shin pads etc. It is expected to be wet next week so again please be aware.

All players will be given a numbered bib on arrival to help staff identify players on the day.🟡🔵

For those not selected on this occasion we know how disappointed you will be. Every footballer faces setbacks during their journey, including many of the very best players in the world. Some fantastic football on display & we were incredibly impressed by the effort, attitude and talent shown by all players.

Unfortunately, we can’t take everyone through to Trial 2 and numbers do need to be reduced, so please try not to be too disappointed if you’re not successful on this occasion. Selection decisions are never easy.

That being said, on Friday we will announce on our page those shortlisted and invited to trial 2.

Redcar & Cleveland Schools District Football:

Advance notice of Registration Fees and Subs for 2026/27 season:

Registration Fee:
£15 per player (for players selected to represent the district), payable by 31st July 2026 by BACS.

Subs: (for players selected to represent the district):

For all players: £10 per month for 9 months, commencing August 2026 with final payment due April 2027 payable by standing order.

Please note that district football currently receives no routine funding and therefore these fees will be used to pay for equipment, kit, pitches, referees, registration fees, league and cup entrance fees etc. This enables us to play and train on good quality, often 4G pitches and provide necessary equipment for each team. This is not possible without these funds.

Please note that our association has access to a Welfare fund for anyone experiencing financial difficulties. Please speak to your team coach for details.

Our district are always looking for local businesses who would like to offer their support in the form of sponsorship. Please get in touch to discuss further.

ONLINE REGISTRATION FOR TRIALS IS NOW OPEN FOR OUR GIRLS & BOYS TRIALS!!

Redcar & Cleveland Schools District Football are delighted to announce the trials for the 2026/27 season.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION:

In order to enter a trial, the player MUST attend school in Redcar & Cleveland.

All players are requested to attend the first trial date and then players will be shortlisted and invited to attend the second/third trial date where relevant.

Players who have played in previous seasons MUST still register via the link

In order to register your child please complete the registration form by clicking on the link below.

Please ensure you select the correct age group for your child and the school that they will attend from September 2026. (Select school year effective from September 2025).

Only children attending the listed schools in Redcar & Cleveland are eligible to trial.

If you attend school in another district you must attend your own district trial (eg Middlesbrough, Stockton, Darlington etc).

If selected to represent Redcar & Cleveland Schools District Football a £15 registration fee will be due by 31st July 2026. Subs are £10 per player per month for nine consecutive months commencing August 2026. We have in place a Welfare Fund. Please ask for details if you wish to apply.

Once you have completed and submitted the form a box will appear stating that the form has been submitted. This is the confirmation that you are registered so please attend the trial you have selected. Please register only once per child. Keep an eye on our page for any updates regarding the trials nearer the time.
