Milford Bowls Club were very happy to host the mayor for his reception yesterday. A very nice afternoon had by all.

𝗠𝗶𝗹𝗳𝗼𝗿𝗱 𝗛𝗮𝘃𝗲𝗻 𝗰𝗶𝘃𝗶𝗰 𝘀𝗲𝗿𝘃𝗶𝗰𝗲 𝗺𝗮𝗿𝗸𝘀 𝘀𝘁𝗮𝗿𝘁 𝗼𝗳 𝗺𝗮𝘆𝗼𝗿𝗮𝗹 𝘆𝗲𝗮𝗿

The Civic Service of the Mayor of Milford Haven, Cllr Mark Woodward, was held at St Katharine and St Peter’s Church on Saturday (June 20).

The service celebrated Cllr Woodward’s election as Mayor and First Citizen of Milford Haven and was attended by civic dignitaries, councillors, community groups and guests, including local MS Paul Davies.

Rev Dr Adrian Furse and Canon John Cecil led the service, with music provided by Gelliswick Community Choir and Milford Haven Town Band.

Representatives from the Guides and Brownies, Milford Haven Sea Cadets and Royal Marines Cadets also took part.

Following the service, refreshments were served at Milford Haven Bowling Club.

Cllr Woodward announced that his chosen charities for the year will be Patch Charity and Greenacres Rescue.

Home matches this weekend at Milford Bowls Club. Playing Fishguard on Saturday and Neyland on Sunday. 2pm both days. All welcome!
