What a fantastic night last night at The Postie for Walton MK Mens presentation evening. Thank you to each and everyone of you for making the night so great.

This year’s prestigious, questionable, and occasionally regrettable awards went to:

🏆 Players’ Player – Peter Macanaspie : Solid all season, even when half the team forgot their boots.

🎯 Manager’s Player – Paul Griffiths : Steady, reliable, probably part robot but a legend who will be sorely missed.

💪 Man of the Match Award – Jordan McMillan : Turned up, smashed it, humble about it (kind of).

🥅 Alex Own Goal Award – Matt Lane : It takes true skill to score... just at the wrong end.

That’s a wrap on the season for Walton MK Mens

From tough battles to big wins, we’ve come a long way this year:

9 wins, 9 losses, 2 draws and a solid run to the semi-final.

Yeah, Sundays 10–1 hit wasn’t our finest hour (we’ll laugh about it one day), but what matters most is the progress we've made as a team.

Walton MK Mens battled Grid City Warriors again today

5-1 Grid City Win⚽️

3-0 by half time but Walton kept putting in the work, a corker from Frankie Betts not only scored us our goal of the game but secured himself MOTM.

Grid city took full advantage of some of our mistakes today but we kept battling on and overall it was a decent game of football, no agg and the sun was out so thats something! 🌞

We welcomed back Logan today after over a year out, it was great to see his legs still work after he got himself moving, great to have you back

Sadly looks like Peter (Still saying I'll be back next week) Macanapie might be out for the rest of the season with his injury today but positive spin it isn't a broken leg so least he can still go work eh gaffa 🤭😉

Yesterday Walton MK Mens took on Scots away

How refreshing, Great game, great banter from both sides, interesting throw in technique from Scots 😉 and for the first time in weeks no agro!

Nice early goal from Jack started the game off as we meant to go on for Walton, with Alex finally learning to score in the right end of the pitch and Jack smashing another few We ended half time on 4-1

2nd half Scots came out strong and after some silly mistakes from Walton they caught up fast after another from Alex or was it Jack and a full shift from captain Jordan landing him a beauty in the net he ended the game for us with a win

Yesterday Walton MK Mens took on Grid City away in the Cup Semi Final.

We started the game 1-0 after a slight deflection Alex Kendall landed a goal, Grid City came back to make it 1-1

Jack Hollis-Smith had a target on his back from the minute his boots touched the pitch but in true Jack style he smiled and waved as he placed his well deserved penalty past the keeper making it 2-1

A 2nd penalty was given to Walton but then after a chat with the linesman it was deemed offside.....

With 8 mins to go Grid City brought it back to 2-2 ultimately taking it to penalties.

Penalties ended 5-3 to Grid City and Good Luck for the Finals⚽️

We had Two Man of the Match this week

Our keeper Paul there is no other word for it other then class, you held us through the game and those hands saved what could of been some incredible goals! Penalties are penalties we all know it can go either way!

Peter Macanaspie -Teamwork by moving into whatever position was needed, multiple times which sadly ended in injury and missing him taking his penalty but we know Pete... always retiring but can never take them boots off for longer then a week or two 😅🤣

Next week we are back at Grid City, let's hope with the pressure of the Cup over it will be back a decent game of football and we won't need to bring ear defenders for the kids on the sideline... 🤭👂

Today Walton MK Mens took on Bletchley Scot’s at home

The game ended in a loss 4-2

2 Goals from Peter, Mr Consistant yet slightly spicy with his words 🌶 this week keeping us in the game, his play today outshone which also landing him MOTM 😛⚽️

Despite a loss also a shout out to our keeper Paul who from the sideline perspective made multiple incredible saves today that kept us from ending on a bigger loss!🙌

Woughton FC took an early lead but it wasn't to last as Walton came back with a bang to end the game..

Andy x2 Top bins and a huge outstretch of the leg secured the two goals for him today

Brandon x1- slotted it nicely in the bottom corner, the celebrations today were our highlight!

Louis x1 - didn't stop from the moment he was on the pitch and was hungry and chasing for that goal today, determination and being in the right place at the right time secured it for him

MOTM Peter for the second week in a row landed man of the match, consistent hard work, determination and the natural ability to read a game is 👏 he shows up each game and puts in 100%.
