BOBi and I explored the blowhole caves West of Lagos today. Stage #2 of the Western Algarve Trek.

Backpack straps made her portable for a little run and climb up to the clifftops where we enjoyed amazing views East over Meia praia and West to Sagres.

After descending about a thousand steps from Ponta da Piedade lighthouse down into the collapsed blowhole cave I packed shoes, phone, car key basically everything except trunks, goggles and hat into BOBi plus a little air and jumped into the water which was only 16C. Though it felt much colder in the shade under the cliffs and definitely in the caves.

BOBi kept us safe from the tourist boats and SUP'ers.

BOBi and I saw dolphins again today. Granted only from the beach but later I enjoyed a 2k swim in the beautiful but chilly Atlantic while she frolicked in the wind just behind me.

Once again I'm grateful for her soft handles which make her playfulness fun rather than painful. Her Unearthly Green colour kept the speedboats informed of our presence too which was helpful. Another fab swim
