Fitness with Ailsa to move and keep active! She created Baby Sling Fit classes for postnatal mums to help them recover & get strong.
Ailsa is a trained exercise instructor and teaches a range of classes to help keep active, get strong and feel motivated. Ailsa is a qualified fitness and ETM instructor. She is also qualified in Pilates instruction, and is qualified in ante and postnatal exercise. Ailsa also teaches activation band/ resistance band workouts, as well as body conditioning with weights and Legs Bums and Tums.

I’ve just posted this to my .collective page but wanted to add it my as this graphic always makes me giggle 😆
One thing that I get to hear a lot from many clients is ‘I don’t have time to exercise’ 🤪
What that actually means most of the time is I can’t be bothered or I haven’t prioritised any time to do it and so it doesn’t happen 🌟
We are now at Day 5 of my 21 Day Menopause Program and creating a window in your day to move and think about what your body needs is a priority 🌟
Many menopausal women say how sore their joints and muscles are and when I ask how often they go out for a walk or do some exercise or stretching most will say very rarely 🙈😞
Movement is key to feeling good in menopause - FACT! If you don’t move then your body will ache from the lack of movement, joints will cease, muscles shorten and we lose lose muscle mass if we don’t work them.
Changing our head space and creating ‘Me’ time to move and release good happy endorphins should be a priority 😍 it shows your body and mind that you care but it also balances those pesky hormones, reduces your risk of heart disease, osteoporosis, weight gain and makes you feel happy😉
Try and go got a walk today, start gently and increase your activity levels, think what did you used to love doing and book a class or go to a gym and remind yourself how great it can feel🙌🏻🧘🏼🏃♂️🚶🏼♀️
Make Friday your movement day 🥰

Remember to count how many moves you can complete and write it down so by the end of your week you can see if you have progressed either with your form - by improving your positioning and finding the moves easier, by increasing your numbers to see that your speed and control improves, to give yourself a sense of satisfaction that you have completed something for you!!
