There’s one thing we can pretty much all rely on when it comes to our minds. When something unusual happens in our lives our brains are terribly good at creating stress, worry and the fear that we can’t deal with whatever the problems are coming our way. Maybe they are new or very different to anything we have dealt with before.

So off we go, tossing and turning at night, thinking about this angle, that angle and convince ourselves that it will all lead to the very worst outcome that we can imagine or that we will just fail miserably or …add any other fear of inadequacy here.
Up to a point working through possibilities is a great idea, but when it gets out of hand we need to stop.

Don’t let your anxiety and fear get the better of you today. Don’t believe everything you think!
If this is a serious anxiety attack that stops you from engaging in life then you really should seek help, there’s no failure or shame in that.

Worries and fears do have messages too. Ask yourself why you are so afraid of the outcome, try to understand your own anxiety and maybe it will become less troublesome.
If it’s just a silly temporary thing, find a good distraction.
Trick your mind to let it go 😘

It’s time to plan ahead. Do you remember when you started this passion project of yours? How excited and motivated you were?
It is natural for that to wax and wane, nobody expects you to be full steam ahead 100% of the time.

You have reached a point now though where you need to remember the reasons that got you here.
Dig into that passion now and keep your eyes firmly on the horizon and you will absolutely get there!
It might be time to find a decent team to get you closer to that fabled horizon too. Nobody can achieve it all in their own.

Today is likely going to bring about discussions about long term plans. What do you really want for the future? How do you plan to get there? Are you seeing the bigger picture? Can you rely on the people coming along for the ride?
All questions you might need to answer to get where you really want to be.
The signs to do so are more than good, this is just the universe throwing in a “Are you sure?”
If you are then that horizon will get closer very soon!

In one of the many books I have with tarot card meanings, is a sentence concerning the High Priestess that really struck a chord.
“She is the blueprint of your soul.”
The ultimate guide into your intuition and subconscious. She knows all the secrets, is the symbol of deep knowledge, psychic awareness and personal authenticity.

When she appears in a reading we are reminded to look inside, towards our own intuition and inspirations. What do you know to be true in your innermost core of beliefs?
Is it possible that not everything around you is completely clear? Do some things elude you right now?
Trust your intuition more than your intellect today!

Look to your own past if you are trying to understand the present. How did you get here?
Understanding and gaining insight into a situation is important today. Trust your inner guidance, you already know what needs to be done and what comes next. You’ve done it before!

Death

The Death card is all about transition, transformation, rebirth and permanent change.
It’s a force that sweeps away the old to make room for the new. Like an overgrown garden that is in need of it all being cut down, dug up and started again.
The change here is indeed permanent, once you stepped through that door it shuts behind you for good.
Go willingly or life will find a way to make you, which will probably be way more painful in the long term.

Don’t be afraid of taking this step into the future. What you are “killing” isn’t worth preserving! Don’t cling to old situations, no matter the cost, it will just bring you pain in the end.
Expect for things to be turned inside out and do your best to be an active part in it. It might not be an easy thing to do, but it is very necessary!

If you don’t get rid of the dead stuff (situations, actual things, relationships, hobbies….anything that isn’t working anymore), any new and wonderful things won’t have room to grow.
Ultimately this is a process of purification and just when you feel upset and sad that things are ending, something new and wonderful will come your way.
Focus on taking out the trash today, the rest will follow 🖤

Wow! What a fantastic card to start the week with!
Cups, as we have seen before, are symbols of all things that are happening to our emotional side. If it’s got anything to do with the affairs of the heart, it’s usually represented by a cup card.
Tens are the completion of a cycle, often the beginning of something new, a sense of wholeness or an end.

The cups and ten combination is a wonderful time of fulfilment. Joy and contentment in personal relationships of all kinds. Close friends and family bring you a sense of harmony and abundance.
Pure domestic bliss, you feel safe and protected surrounded by your loved ones.
How wonderful is that?

Today you are asked to look around and recognise all the blessings around you and in your life. Treasure those close to you and let them know. Family of all kinds is what will make you happy today. Back to earthly matters, work, money or practical stuff. That’s the things that Pentacles represent in the tarot deck.
Threes in general are about collaboration, growth, unity, friendship, synthesis, refining plans… etc.

This particular card reminds us of the power of collaboration and team work. You might know a lot about a specific area, but you can’t know it all and today you might need the strength that comes from a good team as you simply can’t do it all alone.

You might also realise today how much others can still teach you and how much there is to learn about a project or new situation.
Enjoy the expertise others bring to the table, it can only enrich your life.
Never be beyond learning something new and letting others help you out!

He represents authority, order, even the rule of law. To the outside he might seem distant or even emotionless, as if nothing but achievement matters in this life. He is the archetypal ruler, who governs with logic alone.
His astrology connection is Aries, the Ram, the fiery sign of leadership.

Authority has almost become a dirty word these days, but the truth is that without authority and rules not a lot of things would work or get done.
A lot of people thrive under the right set of rules and a benign leader, who understands how important good leadership is, brings a lot of progress and very good energy to the table.

Maybe today you are called to be that responsible leader. If that’s the case, lead with your head, not your heart. Certain situations and decisions are better handled if the emotions stay outside.
That does not give permission to be cruel!
Or if you are on the receiving end, remember that any decisions that were made come from logic.
If they are unkind however, you have every right to speak up.
Calm, focused, with real authority, but not with any malicious intent is the aim today!

Us Pagans always find a reason to celebrate and why ever shouldn’t we?
It’s ten days to the Summer Solstice… that’s a good reason to have a feast. It’s a New Moon in three days, celebrate a fresh start.
But also just life itself, we have food and drink, we have friends, we are alive!
