That’s what Carrie says.

The funny thing is, one of Carrie’s biggest highlights since joining GB1fitness has been being able to run without feeling like she’s dying.

And despite now having 14 parkruns to her name, she still insists she’s not a runner! 😆

That’s often how progress works.

We spend so much time focusing on what we can’t do, we forget to notice how far we’ve come.

Halo knee drive 🔥

This isn’t just about moving a dumbbell around your head and hoping for the best.

The goal is control.

As the halo moves around the head, the core has to stabilise the body while the knee drive adds balance and coordination into the mix.

Shoulders engaged.
Core firing.
Balance challenged.

And yes, ponytails still need tactical awareness 😅

Smooth movement always beats rushed movement.

Battle ropes look chaotic.

But the people getting the most from them aren’t always the fastest.

They’re the ones who find a rhythm.

Control the movement.
Control the breathing.
Control the pace.

Get that right and everything starts to flow.

We spent some time on the ropes in tonight’s classes, and it was great seeing people find that rhythm for themselves.

The funny thing is, fitness often works the same way.

Not all-out effort every day.

Just finding a pace you can keep coming back to.

Two classes today.

One in the rain.
One in the sunshine.

Different weather.
Different moods.
Different energy levels.

But the same thing happened in both.

People showed up.

Most people think fitness is measured by weight loss, strength gains or physical change.

Those things matter.

But some of the biggest wins happen beneath the surface.

The confidence that starts to grow.

The friendships that develop.

The better mood after a tough day.
