Our men's team were back in action this morning up against Stacey Bushes FC.

Another successful weekend for the lads, after a difficult start the lads got the momentum going & turned the game around. Special shout-out to Hayden getting his perfect hat-trick - finish with both feet & header βš½πŸŽ‰

We started off a little slowly and unfortunately gave away a goal, but the boys showed exactly what they’re made of and bounced back brilliantly! The passing, combinations and little triangles all over the pitch were fantastic to watch. It was some of the best football we’ve played, and it was brilliant to see the things we’ve been working on in training coming through in a match.

We also brought our corner routines and goal-kick routines from training onto the pitch today β€” fantastic to see the hard work paying off! πŸ™Œβš½οΈ

The Tigers hosted Shenley yesterday which was a very hard-fought match from start to finish. There were plenty of positives to take from the performance, with every player showing great effort, determination and commitment right until the final whistle.

πŸ† Manager’s Player of the Week – Oliver

Oliver was absolutely phenomenal today. His work rate was outstanding, and he showed great versatility by playing in different positions for the team. To top it off, he scored a fantastic solo goal. An excellent all-round performance, Oliver!

⭐ Parents’ Player of the Week – Theo

Theo was the engine of the whole team. He simply did not stop running and was involved in everything we did. An absolutely fantastic effort and a performance full of energy and commitment.

We have a lot of positives we can take from this game. Keep working hard, keep believing and keep supporting each other.

A brilliant morning for the Jags as they battled to a 3–2 win over Bedford Tigers β€” their first win of the season! πŸ‘βš½οΈ

The boys showed great character after Bedford started strongly, growing into the game and creating plenty of chances.

A fantastic team performance, with the midfield much more competitive, the defence holding its shape brilliantly and the attackers constantly threatening.

⭐ POTM: George β€” calm and solid at the back, turning defence into attack throughout the game. Scored a lovely headed goal for the 2nd week running.

A great result and performance to take into next week's Cup match! πŸ†

The U13 Lionesses secured a well earned point this morning drawing 2-2 against Real Bedford U13 Hawks.

The Lionesses started fast, going ahead with a goal from Jenya after just three minutes. Real Bedford responded almost immediately to draw level and then grabbed another goal before half time.

Second half saw us playing some great football, super strong in defence absorbing a lot of pressure and always carrying a threat on the counterattack, epitomised by Ella when she picked up the ball up on the halfway line and made a fantastic run down the left wing before crossing for Eden to slot home a well deserved equaliser.

First round of the shield and the U12 Lions played at home to Kempston Rovers Colts Tigers.
Kempston came at us quick getting an early goal. The lions had to wake up and work if they wanted to progress to the next round. They started to move the ball and a great run from Jenson ended in a brilliant goal bringing us level.
After half time the boys went out and showed they wanted it, and another goal from Josh secured the win ending 2-1.

Yesterday morning the U10 Pumas were at Two Mile Ash taking on a physical Kempston Rovers Lynxes.

The Pumas started strong, exploiting the wide areas, getting crosses into the box.

It was a close game and both teams put up one hell of a battle and the whole game was played in good spirit.

A fantastic 2nd game of the season for the Pumas and the boys worked so well together, team chemistry is definitely building.

Tyler got MOTM, he was a nuisance up top and it paid off by getting on the score sheet again.

Huey got Player of the week, brilliant in training, listened well when being explained about foot work. He also grabbed a couple of assists this morning.

Great shift from every single player.
